About Renée
Renée serves as the Director of Marketing and Recruiting at Starnes. In her current role, Renée oversees marketing initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic objectives in marketing, business development, communications, and recruitment. She also contributes as a member of several committees, including the recruiting committee, diversity & inclusion committee, website committee, and played a role in the firm’s office renovation project. Before joining the firm, she worked as an event manager for a sports-marketing and event management company, where she specialized in planning professional golf tournaments.
Renée is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Legal Marketing Association – Southeastern Division and the Birmingham City-Group of Legal Recruiters. Outside of her professional work, she serves as a Board Member of the Birmingham Bandits Lacrosse League, a member of the Mountain Brook Kappa Delta Alumni Association, a sustainer member of the Ballet Guild of Birmingham, and she previously held an Executive Board position with PreSchool Partners, a non-profit focused on early childhood education. Renée, her husband Bill, and their two sons are engaged members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
