After four days of jury selection and trial in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, Mike Wright and Christian Hines received a defense verdict on behalf of an orthopedic surgeon. The Defendant physician was charged with placing a surgical plate directly over a patient’s radial nerve during an open reduction and internal fixation procedure performed to treat the patient’s severe humeral fracture.
