Joe Miller and Todd Huntley obtained a defense verdict in a case alleging an obstetrician mismanaged a labor and delivery by administering too much medication to augment labor in a trial of labor after cesarean section, resulting in uterine rupture and death of the child. The plaintiff also alleged that the defendant negligently failed to timely perform a cesarean section to save the child before the uterine rupture occurred. After a seven day trial involving nine witnesses, the jury returned a defense verdict.
