Bob MacKenzie and Stephen Still secured a defense verdict in a medical malpractice wrongful death suit following a five day jury trial. The case involved allegations of improper administration of Tissue Plasminogen Activator (“TPA”) to a stroke patient by the defendant Emergency Room nurse and hospital. At trial, Plaintiff presented expert testimony from an Emergency Room nurse and Board-Certified Neurologist contending Defendants failed to timely and properly administer TPA. The defense presented testimony from the defendant nurse, treating physician, and an Emergency Room nurse expert.
