On March 22, 2013, Billy Bates spoke on the subject of Ethics and Professionalism for Litigators at the Defense Research Institute Medical Liability and Health Care Law Seminar in Miami Beach, Florida. The presentation covered ethical issues faced by litigators and incorporated the Code of Pretrial and Trial Conduct published by the American College of Trial Lawyers as well as the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
