Tony Davis, Trey Wells, and Ben Presley secured a jury verdict in favor of a multinational corporation against one of the three largest railroad companies in the United States in a dispute involving a long-term contract for rail transportation. The case was tried in federal court in Virginia. The railroad company claimed that it was owed over $40,000,000 under the contract, in addition to the more than $35,000,000 it had already been paid. After a six day trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of our client, finding that the railroad had materially breached the contract within six months of its execution, such that our client does not owe anything further, and is entitled to repayment of virtually all of the money already paid. The net value of the judgment to our client exceeds $75,000,000.
