Ann Chapman obtained a favorable judgment for a storeowner in a premises liability case. Plaintiff claimed the storeowner negligently stocked its shelves with water such that a gallon of water fell and caused Plaintiff’s neck injury. The defense argued that the store employees exercised reasonable care in stocking the shelves, that Plaintiff failed to show that any conduct of Defendant caused Plaintiff’s injuries, and that Plaintiff was contributorily negligent. After hearing testimony and considering the evidence presented, the Court entered a judgment in favor of the Defendant.
