Starnes Davis Florie attorneys Joe Miller and Tyler McIntyre obtained a defense verdict for a pediatric anesthesiologist in a case alleging negligent intubation and airway management in the MRI suite, resulting in the death of a 29-day-old infant. Two CRNAs were co-defendants. The trial lasted seven days and involved fourteen witnesses. After deliberating for three full days, the jury returned a unanimous verdict on behalf of the pediatric anesthesiologist and both CRNAs.
