The Department of Labor has now issued the required notice for employers to post explaining employees’ leave rights during the Coronavirus crisis. In addition, the DOL has released fact sheets and an initial set of questions and answers concerning the FFCRA and COVID-19’s implications on the FLSA and FMLA. We anticipate additional, more comprehensive regulations being issued to answer many of the questions employers are still struggling with as the April 1 effective date approaches. We will continue to monitor and remain available to help you implement this new law.
