Sam is an associate at Starnes Davis Florie, devoting his practice to civil litigation with a primary focus on commercial litigation, complex business litigation, NCAA compliance matters, and internal investigations. While attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Sam served as Executive Editor and Junior Editor of the Alabama Law Review. As Competition Finalist, he was awarded Outstanding Brief at the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. He received the Judge Walter P. Gewin Best Brief Award, was appointed to Order of the Barristers, and was a Quarterfinalist at the University of Alabama Moot Court Competition. Prior to starting law school, Sam worked in sales in Washington D.C.
