On October 22, 2009, in Birmingham, Alabama, the National Association of Women Lawyers® (NAWL) and Starnes & Atchison LLP hosted a Night of Giving in support of My Sister's Closet and the YWCA. The event was one of three Night of Giving events held during October in different regions of the country, including Atlanta and Philadelphia, as part of NAWL's National Night of Giving month.
