Reese & Sellers Obtain Defense Verdict in Wrongful Death Case
Joseph Reese and Randy Sellers obtained a defense verdict in a wrongful death case against a specialty care assisted living facility. The case involved an assault of a visitor by an Alzheimer's dementia resident during the resident's attempt to exit the door of the locked facility when a nurse opened it for the visitor to leave. The claim was for negligent monitoring and supervision of the resident and failure to properly respond to the resident's exit attempt.
