Sellers and Reese Obtain Defense Verdict in Favor of Physiatrist
After a week and a half of trial in rural Alabama, Randy Sellers and Joseph Reese obtained a defense verdict in favor of a physiatrist in a case arising from alleged failure to timely diagnose cervical myelopathy. The plaintiff suffers from chronic pain syndrome and quadriparesis as a result of a injury to the spinal cord. Plaintiff claimed at trial that earlier radiographic testing would have revealed the myelopathy leading to earlier surgery and good recovery. Plaintiff is permanently and completely disabled.The jury returned a defense verdict in favor of the physiatrist.
