Joseph Reese defends nursing facility in a wrongful death case.
On November 13th, a 3-person panel of arbitrators ruled unanimously in favor of a skilled nursing facility in a nursing home, wrongful death case involving allegations of mismanagement of a feeding tube. The case was defended by Joseph Reese, Jr. The panel ruled that the Claimant failed to present sufficient evidence that any mismanagement of the feeding tube probably caused the death. The decision followed two days of an evidentiary hearing and post-evidence submissions of proposed findings by each party.
